The KTT Team
The Corporate Development and Technology Transfer team brings together professionals with expertise in business development, intellectual property management, open science and research impact assessment. Working closely with IREC’s researchers and external partners, the team identifies opportunities, builds collaborative projects and ensures that IREC’s knowledge and technologies generate tangible value for industry, public bodies and society.
Business development and funding: identifying and securing collaborative projects, industrial contracts and funding opportunities that align with IREC’s strategic priorities and strengthen long-term external partnerships.
Technology and knowledge transfer: managing IREC’s intellectual property portfolio, supporting spin-off creation and guiding the translation of research results into market-ready solutions and licensing agreements.
Open science and data management: promoting open-access practices, ensuring compliance with funders’ mandates and maintaining IREC’s research data management framework across all departments.
Research impact assessment: monitoring and evaluating the societal and economic outcomes of IREC’s research activities, producing impact reports and supporting the measurement of scientific productivity and knowledge valorisation.
