LIFES50+ has started
The kickoff meeting of the brand new project LIFES50+ has taken place in Trondheim on 10-11 June 2015. In this meeting IREC as WP2 leader has presented the work package idea as well as tasks and objectives to be achieved.
The LIFES50+ project is led by Marintek and the consortium also include key partners on offshore wind technology as Politecnico di Milano, DTU, Ramboll, ORE Catapult, Universitat Stuttgart, Iberdrola, IDEOL, DNV GL, Tecnalia, IREC and Olav Olsen. The project will run for 40 months and focus on proving the innovative technology that is being developed for floating substructures for 10MW wind turbines at water depths greater than 50m.
